Meet Dr. Byrne



William V. Byrne , DMD

A native of Watertown, Dr. Byrne attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated with a degree in Psychology and Pre-Professional studies. He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated Summa Cum Laude. In 1990, he was elected to the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He has received awards for outstanding achievements in Dental Prosthodontics and Oral Medicine. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Byrne became an Assistant Clinical Professor and taught for fifteen years at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Dr. Byrne has volunteered extensively with the Boy Scouts of America. As an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 5 Milton, Dr. Byrne organized many camping trips and excursions. Under his leadership, the Boy Scouts of Troop 5 travelled to London, St. John in the US Virgin Islands, Gettysburg and New York City. Each year they would attend a weekend of skiing and tubing at Mt. Cranmore in New Hampshire. One of his last trips to organize was a week-long paddling and whitewater rafting adventure on the New River in West Virginia.
Dr. Byrne and his wife Patricia reside in Milton, Massachusetts. They enjoy golfing, skiing, and spending much of their vacation time in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. They have travelled extensively with their three children visiting National Parks throughout the US.
